
Wayne Broberg, MPT Owner
Wayne was born and raised right here in San Jose graduating from Piedmont Hills High School in 1994. There he began to prepare his love for sports and fitness. Taking physiology his senior year and playing football and baseball Wayne knew sports medicine was his track. Wayne was MVP of his baseball team and voted best defensive player for football. He was voted first team all-league for both sports and continued his love for sports playing Division I intercollegiate football for the University of the Pacific while obtaining his bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine. Wayne also received MVP honors for his play with the UOP Lacrosse team. It was during his rehabilitation for multiple sports injuries in college that Wayne decided to continue his education in the field of Physical Therapy. Wayne pursued his goal receiving his Masters of Physical Therapy degree at Chapman University. There he majored in Orthopedics and minored in gait analysis.
Poorva Kulkarni, Co-Clinical Director, PT, DPT, MHS
Poorva has more than 8 years of clinical experience in treating medically complex conditions. She specializes in post-orthopedic surgery rehabilitation, total joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and sports rehabilitation. She has a doctorate in Neurologic Physical Therapy with specialization in treating varied orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and post-concussion conditions. She also has experience in performing oncology, pulmonary, cardiac, and prosthetic rehabilitation. She enjoys mentoring and being a clinical instructor for physical therapy students. She is knowledgeable in treating headaches (tension headaches, cervicogenic headaches, and TMJ headaches). She is proficient in manual therapy interventions; providing quality therapeutic exercise to assist patients in returning to their prior level of function. Her hobbies include playing badminton, traveling, and watching movies.
Ankita Ranga, Co-Clinical Director, PT, DPT, AIB-VR/CON
Ankita received her Bachelor’s in Physical therapy from India after which she moved to the US to pursue her Masters in Biomechanics and Kinesiology from SUNY Buffalo. After gaining few years of work experience as a PT she completed her Doctorate in PT specializing in Neurology. In her 7+ years of experience she has worked in acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. While working for ATI physical therapy she got her certifications in vestibular and concussion therapy from American Institute of Balance in Florida. She has taught continuing education courses at ATI academy on Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management. In order to grow her clinical skills, she also gained certifications in Dry Needling and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). She enjoys being a therapist and loves being a part of the rehabilitation journey of her patients. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and gardening.
Krishan Bhakta, DPT Physical Therapist
Krishan received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University, focusing on orthopedic care, and his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, from CSU Long Beach. He has been drawn to physical therapy since he needed physical therapy to recover from shoulder surgery. His treatment approach is a very individualized combination of manual therapy, exercise, and therapeutic activities with a focus to return a patient to their maximal functional level. His clinical interests include rehabilitation of the shoulder, low back pain and chronic pain. He is amazed at the healing power of the human body when met with the correct treatment and resources.
Jennifer Hart, DPT Senior Physical Therapist
Jennifer received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Chapman University and her B.S. at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She was a 4-Year Division I NCAA scholar athlete at Cal Poly as a swimmer. Jennifer's clinical interests include shoulder and scapulothoracic mechanics, repetitive/overuse shoulder injuries in the overhead athlete/worker, manual therapy, and postural training. Jennifer's personal interests include swimming (12-year competitive swimming career), running (5k-marathons), all sports from water polo to cross country, hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and learning Spanish. Jennifer and her husband have two boys.

Jessica Albert, Office Manager
A San Jose native, Jessica joined Broberg Physical Therapy in 2006 after graduating from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. Jessica played Division I softball on a scholarship at Long Island University. Her team won the conference title each year she played. She was awarded conference pitcher of the year in 2004. She also played at West Valley College prior to attending LIU. She was California JUCO pitcher of the year and first team all American at West Valley in 2003. Jessica became interested in physical therapy after being injured and having surgery during her senior campaign at LIU. In her free time, Jessica enjoys weight lifting, hiking, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
Nicole Stull, Senior PT Aide
Nicole was born and raised in Southern California. She enjoys long walks on the beach and spending time relaxing at home watching a good Rom-Com. She completed her B.S in Exercise Science at Lindenwood University-Bellville in Southern Illinois while on a softball scholarship. Nicole has her sights set on becoming a Physical Therapist stemming from her life as an athlete.

Modesto Ucol, PT Aide
Modesto was born and raised in San Jose. He graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in rehabilitation science from San Jose State University in the spring of 2021. Modesto’s interest in physical therapy stems from competition in multiple sports such as basketball, track and field, and karate as well as an overall passion to learn about human body movement. In the future, Modesto hopes to continue his education and one day become a physical therapist. In his free time, Modesto enjoys playing basketball, hiking with his dogs, and watching bay area sports teams.
Jaci Ladringan, PT Aide
Jaci grew up in San Jose, California. In his free time, he enjoys singing, playing basketball, cooking, and hiking. He attended Foothill College and then transferred to San Jose State University. He received his B.S in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science from SJSU during the Fall 2021 semester. He plans to continue his education with the aspiration of becoming a physical therapist.
