Wayne Broberg, MPT/Owner
Wayne was born and raised right here in San Jose graduating from Piedmont Hills High School in 1994. There he began to prepare his love for sports and fitness. Taking physiology his senior year and playing football and baseball Wayne knew sports medicine was his track.
Wayne was MVP of his baseball team and voted best defensive player for football. He was voted first team all-league for both sports and continued his love for sports playing Division I intercollegiate football for the University of the Pacific while obtaining his bachelors degree in Sports Medicine. Wayne also received MVP honors for his play with the UOP Lacrosse team.
It was during his rehabilitation for multiple sport injuries in college that Wayne decided to continue his education in the field of Physical Therapy. Wayne pursued his goal receiving his Masters of Physical Therapy degree at Chapman University. There he majored in Orthopedics and minored in gait analysis.
Jessica Busick, Patient Account Representative/Senior Physical Therapy Aide
Jessica played Division I softball on a scholarship at Long Island University. Her team won the conference title each year she played. She was awarded conference pitcher of the year in 2004. She also played at West Valley College prior to attending LIU. She was California JUCO pitcher of the year and first team all American at West Valley in 2003.
Jessica became interested in physical therapy after being injured and having surgery during her senior campaign at LIU. She has since graduated from LIU with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology and Adapted physical education. She plans to continue her education and earn her DPT in physical therapy. She enjoys snowboarding and running in her free time.
Lindsay Gardina, Physical Therapy Aide
Lindsay was a scholarship athlete at UC Santa Barbara where she competed in Division 1 Cross-Country and Track and Field. She was the captain of the 2006 Cross-Country team when a ninth place finish at the D1 NCCA Cross-Country Championships was achieved - the highest ranking by a UCSB Cross-Country team to date. She qualified for nationals in Cross-Country in 2003, 2004, and 2006 and was a 2-time member of the Academic All-American team in Cross Country. Lindsay graduated from UCSB in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and plans to attend Physical Therapy school in the near future. She currently enjoys being a newlywed and spending any free time she has outdoors.
Armando Bajacan, PT/Staff Physical Therapist
Armando graduated from De la Salle University, College of Physical Therapy in 1999. He has been a licensed Physical Therapist in California since 2002. Armando is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist by The Back School of Atlanta. Armando's experience is in outpatient orthopedics/sports and home health care. He also specializes in ergonomics, post operative, work/sports related injuries and geriatric rehabilitation. He is involved in wellness and health/fitness programs pertaining to running mechanics, cycling, bike fitting, and weight training.
Jan Jacobsen, OTR/Staff Occupational Therapist
Jan brings > 8 years experience in treating patients with occupational therapy needs. Jan assists patients with performing ADL's correctly and efficiently as well as a variety of extensive upper extremity rehabilitation. Jan also handles durable medical equipment needs.
Dr. Christine Trinidad, DPT/Staff Physical Therapist
Christine brings > 7 years experience of rehabilitation care, specializing in orthopedics and neuro-rehab. Christine obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from USC. Christine is very passionate about her career and enjoys seeing patients progress. Christine specializes in home care preparing patients for outpatient rehabilitation.
